Interspersed rumblings of technical issues hampered the Playstation 4 launch—making many people go as far as to dub the launch a “disappointment.”
And, earlier this month, Sony released what they are calling the “1.52 System Update.”
Available for manual download on the Playstation 4’s “settings” menu—according to various sources—the patch came as a direct response to technical issues on the Playstation Network.
Dubbed a “software stability” patch by Playstation via their official Twitter account, Sony also recommended to “enable auto download and leave your PS4 in standby mode.”
Interestingly, this download came quickly after Microsoft released a patch for the Xbox One.
