‘Pokemon X/Y’ trailer shows off sky battles

At this point in the life of the Pokemon franchise, I imagine it’s pretty difficult to innovate, but that sure doesn’t stop Nintendo. In the latest trailer for the upcoming Pokemon X/Y, we’re introduced to sky battles. And from the looks of it, they’re exactly what they sound like. Check it out below.

Pokemon X/Y is exclusive to the 3DS, and is scheduled to release October 12, 2013.
