Since our staff is responsible for covering pretty much everything related to the video game industry on a daily basis, it can be tough to post all the stories we think our readers would like to see. Videos go unwatched, new release dates are missed and silly quotes just float away without ever being heard. So, instead of ignoring the news that slipped through the cracks each week, we decided to put it all in one convenient place!
This week, we tackle the “failure” that is Resident Evil 6, some possible news on the much-delayed Pray 2 and a gameplay trailer for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
Capcom financials: ‘Resident Evil 6’ a failure
Capcom’s quarter three, nine-month financial report is out, and despite a significant increase in profits, the company’s blockbuster title Resident Evil 6 sold well below expectations.
The zombie-themed title has actually been branded a failure in Capcom’s press release, even though it’s sold 4.8 million units worldwide to date. However, these numbers aren’t up to the series’ standards.
“Despite recording brisk sales when it debuted, [Resident Evil 6] subsequently lost its momentum, resulting in the failure to achieve planned sales and fulfill its role as a driver of sales expansion,” the statement reads.
These results will likely force a change in the next Resident Evil title.

‘Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge’ slicing into 360 and PS3
OK, the third adventure of Ryu Hayabusa hasn’t exactly wowed fans or critics on any platform, but Team Ninja is giving it one more chance in the form of Razor’s Edge.
Originally a Wii U exclusive, this enhanced hack-and-slash adventure will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 April 2. All the existing DLC, as well as additional playable characters, a new gameplay mode, a redesigned battle system, and “expanded online features” will be packed into Razor’s Edge, which can be purchased both at retail and on downloadable markets.
If you’re ready to give it one more chance, look for another iteration of Ninja Gaiden 3 in April.

Rumor: ‘Prey 2’ announcement incoming
Remember Pray 2? Of course you do. This delayed, and at times seemingly canceled title made a splash when it first debuted some gameplay, and it looks like we may be getting a bit more news on the open-world title in the near future.
A teaser website has appeared that seems to carry a similar color scheme and style as what we’ve seen from Pray 2 so far. It’s pretty cryptic, but there’s a countdown that will expire March 1 at 18 p.m. And, thanks to some investigative work by ShopTo.net, source code that gives further Pray 2 evidence has also been spotted. Give it a look.
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what comes from this strange timer.
