EVE Online, CCP Games’ space simulation MMO, experienced its largest skirmish to date over the weekend, incorporating more than 2800 different online players.
I won’t pretend to know all of the intricacies of this 2003 PC title. There are in-game professions and activities, such as piracy, mining, trading, exploration and combat, as well as plenty of ships just waiting to be piloted. A player-run economy also exists, but I don’t follow EVE Online for the core gameplay.
No, I pay attention to this bizarre world for events like what you see below.
