Since our staff is responsible for covering pretty much everything related to the video game industry on a daily basis, it can be tough to post all the stories we think our readers would like to see. Videos go unwatched, new release dates are missed and silly quotes just float away without ever being heard. So, instead of ignoring the news that slipped through the cracks each week, we decided to put it all in one convenient place!
This week, we check out some pictures of the new PlayStation 3 model, a renewed Killer Instinct trademark and Tony Hawk HD on Steam.
Images of the PlayStation 3 super-slim model emerge
The PlayStation 3 is getting skinnier this month, and we have a couple of new pictures of the sleek device right here for you. Expect a $269 250GB option on September 25 that includes Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and some downloadable content for Dust 514, as well as a $299 500GB model on October 30 that comes with Assassin’s Creed III.
‘Killer Instinct’ trademark renewed
Remember that crazy fighting game where you played as cyborgs, scantly clad women and dinosaurs? Well, so does Microsoft, as it renewed the trademark for Killer Instinct this week.
What does that mean, exactly? Well, PlayXBLA was the first to break the news and is a Microsoft website, so it would be a little strange for them to just announce this without any future plans. Whether the project is an HD collection of past games or a whole new experience is something that only time will tell.
‘Remember Me’ gets new screens
Capcom’s recently announced Remember Me, which saw a pretty nifty video release just this week, now has a few new screenshots to digest. Give them a look below and make sure you let us know what you think!

‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’ releases on Steam
We had plenty of fun with Tony Hawk’s homage to his past games this summer, and now, PC gamers can let the glorious nostalgia take over with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD on Steam.
The game will cost you $9.99 normally, but because Valve just loves to give its fans the best prices around, you can get the game 10 percent off for a limited time. Check it out, and don’t forget to only play graffiti mode.
‘Fable: The Journey’ is a pretty lookin’ game
Kinect owners are ready for new, interesting experiences, and it looks like Lionhead is bringing exactly what the doctor ordered with the soon-to-be-released Fable: The Journey.
Whether you’re riding a horse or throwing hot balls of magic at enemies, this motion-controlled title is one to watch this fall. Look for it on the Xbox 360 October 9.
