Rejoice Skyrim owners, as the very first downloadable content has been announced by Bethesda. Along with the teaser image that was included, Bethesda revealed that Skyrim’s first downloadable content would be called “Dawnguard”. It’s been a great day for Skyrim fans, as the Kinect update hit the Xbox 360 today as well.
Xbox 360 owners will receive the DLC first and then Playstation 3 and PC owners will receive it after the 30-day exclusivity period with Microsoft ends. There’s no firm release date revealed for the downloadable content either, only that it’s coming “Summer 2012”.
More details are said to come at E3 2012, but we would expect a good portion of those to be at Microsoft’s press conference during the show. There’s no concrete information as to what the downloadable content will include, but the speculation will begin with the image above.
