Your journey across the galaxy is set to end. Since the launch of the original Mass Effect, your choices have been changing how your playthrough pans out. Each character you save or let die will ultimately have a huge effect on the way your final story plays out in Mass Effect 3.
BioWare and EA have officially released Mass Effect 3 today, allowing you to download the game or purchase it at your favorite retailer. The game features multiplayer this time around as well as various Kinect features to help you with squad commands.
Even if you’ve yet to play any of the previous Mass Effect titles, you’ll be able to make a few decisions at the very beginning that’ll catch you up and help the third game take shape. BioWare added this feature in originally for Mass Effect 2 so that newcomers or Playstation 3 owners wouldn’t miss out on the backstory.
Are you planning on picking up Mass Effect 3 today from your favorite retailer? If you are picking the title up, are you sad to see Commander Shepard’s story come to an end? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Mass Effect 3 in our forums.
