If you’re a fan of the Playstation Vita and don’t live in Japan, you’re anxiously awaiting for it to be available in your territory.  While the Playstation Vita is set to ship February 22nd, fans of the shooter genre will be awaiting March the 6th.  Why?  The release of a shooter, Unit 13, will be hitting the system.

Zipper Interactive is behind development of the title, which may actually turn you away from the game, but it’s more of a “simple” shooter.  However, if you’re about just shooting enemies, racking up high scores, and replayability, than Unit 13 just may be up your alley.  The title boasts 36 missions that can be played solo or in co-op.

The game features leaderboards for each mission, allowing you to attempt to achieve the highest score amongst all of your friends.  Each game type that you play also features different scoring rules.  The rules make sure that you stick to the style of the mission-type to maximize your score.

Below, we’ve included a video walkthrough of a Covert mission available in the title.

What do you think about Unit 13?  Are you planning on picking up the title in March for your Playstation Vita?  Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or join the Playstation Vita discussion in our forums!
