GameStop to stop accepting Playstation 2 trade-ins

It’s already been four years since GameStop stopped accepting original Xbox games, it’s relatively surprising then, that they’re just now laying the Playstation 2 to rest. On June 1, the company will finally stop offering funds for your old backlog,¬†accessories, and PS2 consoles. Whether of not they will stop selling their stock for the console is yet to be clear, but Sony stopped manufacturing consoles in December of last year, so buying it used will be the only way to go.
