When Halo 4 launched many fans were dismayed by the lack of certain key playlists. I personally understood that 343 wanted to feature their new gametypes and get people to try something new rather than reverting to their old playlists. For those of you who are still craving some classic experience, 343 has announced that SWAT will be added this week.
The settings were explained in detail during last week’s Halo Bulletin:
Mode SWAT Teams 4v4 Score to Win 600 [60 Kills] Loadout 1 DMR, Magnum Loadout 2 BR, Magnum Grenades Disabled Shields Disabled Damage Resistance .8 – Headshot = Instant kill Motion Tracker Off Infinite Ammo On Shield HUD Disabled Ordnance Disabled • DMR – 3 bullets to the chest, 1 bullet to the head
• Magnum – 3 bullets to the chest, 1 bullet to the head
• BR – 7 bullets to the chest (this gun shoots three bullets in a burst, so the first bullet of the third burst will kill the player), 1 bullet to the head
Map Rotation:
- Haven
- Adrift
- Complex
- Abandon
- Solace
When asked about other playlists on Twitter, 343’s own Community Manager, Jessica Shea, offered a straightforward response saying that Team Doubles and FFA will be “featured in the weeks following launch.”
For more news regarding Halo 4’s multiplayer stay tuned as we’ll keep you up to date on the changes which will be coming on a weekly basis.
