Madden NFL 13’s Connected Careers: How Will You Play?

It’s hard to believe, but the launch of Madden NFL 13 is just a few short weeks away.  On August 28th, gamers will celebrate Maddenoliday by enjoying a “sick” or vacation day from work or schoool.

While the release of a new Madden title always seem to be exciting, the release of Madden NFL 13 marks a special point in the history of the franchise.  Josh Looman, Madden NFL 13’s Senior Designer, is bringing his dream feature known simply as “Madden Connected Careers“.

While fans were initially upset over the lack of player edits in Madden NFL 13, a portion of that group has now looked more closely at the bigger picture for the game.  While a small, yet loved, feature is not available this year, Connected Careers allows for a deeper and more rewarding career experience to be enjoyed.

Sports games have often suffered from not having an “end game”, and Connected Careers looks to solve that.  Taking Superstar and Franchise modes and morphing them into one, you can now enjoy an online mode with friends where you can play as your favorite team or just a specific player.

In celebration of Connected Careers, we’re interested to see how you plan on playing the title.  Are you looking to coach your favorite team, or are you more intrigued to play a certain position with a player in the NFL?

We’ve included a poll above where you can vote on how you plan on playing, but we want to hear that team or player you plan on using as well.  Our comment section below is the perfect place for you to let everyone know who you plan on using and why.

Are you taking Vince Young through a road of redemption? Or maybe you’re excited to make Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III the best quarterback in the league? Regardless, we want to hear how you’re playing Madden NFL 13.
