The biggest feature coming to Madden NFL 13 this year, and possibly sports gaming, is Connected Careers. The mode allows you and your friends to compete in an online franchise as either coaches or players.
Rather than the traditional franchise that you’ve grown accustomed to over the years, Connected Careers brings the opportunity to work towards a goal. Every game that you play, award that you win, and action that you take on the field with your team or player is taking you towards the goal of the Hall of Fame.
At any point in your franchise, you can compare your “Legend” score against your friends to see how you’re stacking up. A few years into your online franchise and tired of playing as the coach? No problem, as you can switch to another player in the league or vice versa.
Below, we’ve included the latest trailer for Madden NFL 13’s Connected Careers mode featuring Trey Wingo and Josh Looman.
