If you enjoyed Battlefield 3 and want to get in on some more epic online multiplayer action, you are in luck: EA will be revealing information about the sequel “in about 90 days.”
According to VideoGamer, EA said during its earnings call that while the publisher is not ready to talk about anything just yet, gamers will get some information “in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff.” This is interesting because 90 days from now, if industry rumors are correct, the new consoles from EA and Sony should have been revealed (it is possible that the console reveal will come at the GDC in March). This means that Battlefield 4 may very well be a next-gen game.
This theory is supported by EA CEO John Riccitiello saying, “We think Battlefield and FIFA are going to help us lead as we move into the next set of technology opportunities.”
