It’s that time of year again with the NFL Draft finally upon on when we turn our sights to the new Madden game. EA Sports has opened up registration for the Madden 24 beta.
In order to get a code, you either need to have received an email from EA because you were impacted by the franchise mode bug in December or you sign up through a special form on the EA Website.
You should hurry though as signups close on Friday, April 28th.
The Madden 24 closed beta will only be available on the XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
When registering, you will have to select which system you’d like to participate on.
The fact that the Madden 24 beta will be offered on PC is a decent indication that the PC version of the game will finally make the jump to next gen.
Unfortunately if you are still on an older generation console like the XBOX One or PlayStation 4 you will not be able to participate in this year’s beta unless you upgrade.
According to Madden-School.com, the Madden 24 beta will start on Thursday, June 8th, 2023. It usually lasts a couple weeks and you’ll be encouraged to submit feedback.
Here is the message you should receive if your registration is successful:
In the past, recording and/or publishing content captured from the beta has been strictly prohibited.
We do not know yet whether that will be the case again this year but we assume it will be.
We expect the full release of Madden 24 to be released in August as it always is. This should give EA’s developers 1-2 months to fix any major bugs discovered in the beta and fix them before the official release.
EA Sports will also likely use the beta as a hype/marketing campaign to generation buzz around Madden 24 in this make or break year.
So if you don’t want to jump through all kinds of hoops to get a code, you’ll want to do it the easy way and register this week.
