Sony has announced via the MLB The Show Facebook Page that the release date for MLB 14 The Show on PlayStation 4 is set for Tuesday, May 6th,2014. It was announced earlier that the PS4 version would be available sometime in May, but the exact date had not been set until today.
The PlayStation 3 and PS Vita version of MLB 14 The Show is still set to be released on April 1st. The break between the 2 release dates gives fans just over a month with the current generation consoles before the PS4 game comes out.
It still remains to be seen how the staggered release schedule will impact sales of MLB 14 The Show.
