With just over two months to go until the launch of Titanfall for the Xbox One, it seems inevitable that a preview embargo will be lifted in the near future. While we’re still waiting for the next media blowout, we’ve come across new information on the game from a Titanfall forum.
There’s a heavy expectation that Titanfall will cater to the competitive crowd since it’s a multiplayer-only title. Controller layouts vary based on the player-type in the competitive scene, and Titanfall will support two fan favorites: Bumper Jumper & Tactical.
There is a layout with melee and crouch swapped, as well as a variant that allows for jumping on a bumper. (my personal favorite, as it allows you to use the “look” stick while jumping)
More than one controller layout confirmed!
While it may seem like a relatively small piece of information, it’s something small that goes a long way for players looking to play competitively. We’ve already had a sneak peak at the controller layout screen, but it’s great to learn that we’ll have at least three options on consoles.
What do you think about the confirmed controller layouts for Titanfall? Are there any other additional layouts that you’d like to see used in the game? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below!
