A new update released last week for Grand Theft Auto Online allows users to create custom content for various game modes.
The update allows players access to “some of the same tools our own game design and development teams use,” according to an update on the Rockstar Newswire blog. Using those tools, players can create custom content for deathmatch, team deathmatch, race, GTA race and rally race game modes.
In deathmatch modes, players can choose a location for the match anywhere in Los Santos or Blaine County, as well as customize weapon and spawn points and place special props like containers, ramps and vehicles.
For the various race modes, players can create and publish land, air and sea races. Players can choose the type of race and route type (laps or point-to-point), as well as the number of players, grid size and vehicle class. Tutorials are available for all custom creation types.
Content creation has been available for about a week now. Have you been testing it out? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
