One of the most haunting titles of last year was Jasper Byrne’s Lone Survivor. It was a psychological horror game in the 16-bit SNES style that felt terrifying to play. Now it’s on a console and a handheled as it’s out on PSN today for both your PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
Curve Studios, who ported Thomas Was Alone and developed the wonderful Stealth Inc., ported this game with the added subtitle of Director’s Cut. It adds new dialogue, new endings, and 20 new items.
Our review will be up shortly in the week but you should definitely go pick it up now at the price of $12.99, with Cross-play and Cross-buy enabled. Curve Studios aren’t even done with their amazing ports of indie titles. They’ll have Proteus up sometime this year also.
Let us know what you think of the original Lone Survivor and if you’re picking up the Director’s Cut in the comments below!
