While it’s crazy to think that Naughty Dog (Uncharted, The Last of Us) and Sony Santa Monica Studios (who collaborated on many of the greatest PlayStation 2-3 games) wouldn’t bring games into the next generation, there’s been little news on the planned projects so far.
Fear not, as there is a plan for the studios. SCE Worldwide Studios Europe Vice President (that is a mouthful) Michael Denny recently took to an interview on PlayStation Access to explain the status of of the MIA studios. Apparently, Sony wants to spread out some of the great games the studios have the potential to create. A solid launch lineup has been nailed down, and some great games are going to have to come a bit later in order to spread the wealth, so to speak.
Here’s a video of the interview, if you’re interested. The above information is stated at the 3 minute mark.
What do you think the games will be, when they’re announced? Tell us in the comments or find us on Facebook and Twitter!
