It was a dark day for all of us when LucasArts got shuttered, particularly because it meant that whatever the studio was working on would not see the light of day. Here’s a list of which games/concepts got cancelled, taken from the book Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts.
There are a lot of interesting looking games here, including games centering on Darth Vader and Han Solo, an Episode VII game (unlikely to be tied to the movie), the amusingly similar Rebel Jedi and Jedi Rebel, and most tragically, another Jedi Knight game. Some of these likely would have been hit and miss, but that Jedi Knight game would have surely been a winner, and it’s hard to imagine a game called Jedi Hunter not being awesome. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely any of these will ever see the light of day. Interestingly, the list does not mention Star Wars 1313, which is in development hell until Disney decides to revive it.
Do any of these jump out at you? Share the anguish in the comments, or visit us on Facebook and Twitter!
