‘Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn’ receives Emmy nomination

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, the live-action miniseries based on Microsoft’s Halo franchise, has received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Main Title Design for the upcoming 2013 Television Emmy Awards.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn faces competition in its category from American Horror Story: Asylum, Da Vinci’s Demons, Elementary, The Newsroom and Vikings.

The miniseries was released via Machinima online on a weekly basis leading up to the launch of Halo 4 last year. Its goal was to produce hype for newcomers to the Halo series, as well as bridge the gap between for players that had not seen the iconic Master Chief since 2007.
