Fans of Kingdom Hearts will soon have a reason to dive back into the franchise’s origins. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX releases September 10, and those willing to pre-order will snag an art book. Quantities of the book are said to be “very limited,” but those kinds of qualifiers should always be taken with a grain of salt. The absurdly named retail product itself comes with Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and the cinematics from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Check out the package below.
Kingdom Hearts first launched for the PS2 back in 2002, and was a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney. Characters from Final Fantasy and a slew of Disney movies make cameos in what is possibly the oddest piece of fan-service in video games. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX is exclusive to the PS3 and will cost $39.99.
