The news from the Sony press conference keeps coming with executives from Gaikai announcing how they will work with Sony in the future. From what’s been said so far, demos will be available to stream directly from the PlayStation Store. If this will apply to every game on the store, or if any restrictions will exist at all is not currently known.
The technology will also be used with the new share button on the DualShock 4. Playtime can be uploaded at will to share with friends online. But, quite possibly the best announcement of the bunch involves backwards compatibility. There was talk of being able to play any PS1, PS2, or PS3 game via the PlayStation Cloud. How large the libraries will be at launch is unknown.
