Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be released for the 360 and PS3 on April 23rd in North America and April 26th throughout Europe. Available in both physical and digital formats, the expansion will cost $39.99, €29.99, or £19.99. Dark Arisen will open up the underground expanse of Bitterblack Isle, providing new quests, enemies, and of course loot.
Anyone who played the original Dragon’s Dogma will be able to export save data, allowing you to keep any character progression and gear already acquired. In addition, these same people will receive an additional 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones and the Gransys Armour Pack consisting of six brand new costumes. The expansion will also alter a few aspects of the original game in an attempt to streamline the UI and travel system.
Each character class will receive a new tier of skills to work toward, as well as over 100 pieces of new equipment to find. Overall, it’s shaping up to be a decent bit of content for the price.
