This one’s a beauty. If your friend or loved one is into puzzle games, it doesn’t get much better than this. With a rather unique art style, gameplay, and an old school soundtrack, Fez is certainly worth picking up. It will take a good chunk of time to beat, especially if you vow not to use the Internet to help solve some of the puzzles, but that’s a bold statement as Fez requires a lot of work.
If you don’t own it on PC, or you have a lot of friends that play this on Xbox, you can’t really go wrong with this one. With the ability to build (or destroy) for countless hours, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth out of Minecraft on Xbox 360. It might always be behind the PC version of Minecraft, but it’s the comfort factor that gets me here.
If you’re a fan of light-hearted racing games, this one might be for you. At times it can be downright masochistic, but it’s always fun to play in bite-sized chunks. Trials will kick your butt through and through until you teach it a lesson. Combined with the endless amount of community-made tracks, this one will stick around until well after you’re done with it.
