It seems Bungie has pulled a fast one on unsuspecting Halo fans, successfully planting a teaser image for their upcoming game, currently codenamed Destiny, within Halo 3: ODST.
Halo 3: ODST was released in 2009 and, until now, a teaser image in the game for Bungie’s next game, Destiny, has gone unnoticed. Some wondered if the image in question (seen below) was really a teaser for Destiny.
A level artist from Bungie, Vic Deleon, has confirmed its authenticity in a tweet.

Of course, anyone who saw this image in the game all those years ago couldn’t have known what Destiny was at all. Obviously, Bungie knew, though, which means Destiny has been a long time coming.
