Nothing burns worse than having a licensed game and hearing actors that sound nothing like what their screen counterparts should sound like. Luckily, Activision is going the extra mile and having Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker reprise their roles from AMC’s The Walking Dead for the tie-in game, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, according to the recent press release.
Taking place before the events of the show, Survival Instinct will follow brothers Merle and Daryl Dixon on their journey to alleged safe haven Atlanta. Players will control fan favorite Daryl, the crossbow-toting badass redneck. With the addition of Merle though, it’s not unwise to expect a co-op element. Developed by Terminal Reality, Survival Instinct is slated for an early 2013 release for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
