‘Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2’ gameplay to premiere at VGAs, teaser released

Konami’s surprisingly successful take on Castlevania in a 3D world has a sequel coming next year by the name of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. While we haven’t seen much of the 2013 game yet, it seems like that will change when the first chunk of gameplay surfaces at the 2012 Video Game Awards.

The combat may have resembled what we’ve seen in Sony’s God of War franchise, but the story of Gabriel Belmont was much more than just a shade of what’s come before it. Lords of Shadow had its own unique aesthetic  tone and cast of characters, and that will be returning in the sequel.
