Fans of Mass Effect 3 quickly discovered that a piece of content revolving around Omega had been removed from the game’s code and it caused a bit of an upset in the community. Everyone was quick to jump to conclusions that BioWare and EA would release the content at a later date and charge extra for it, and when it was announced that that was the case, some continued to voice their rather blunt opinion. After all, there are still those who continue to voice their discontent over the ending or the resulting change of said ending. Regardless, there are still plenty of hardcore fans who stick with the series through thick and thin, and tomorrow marks a great day for them – the return to Omega.
Omega was a huge part of Mass Effect 2 and fans were dismayed that it failed to even make an appearance in the sequel, but the time has come to return. BioWare has released the launch trailer for the DLC which gives us a good look at what to expect. Not only do we get to fight alongside the infamous Aria T’Loak, but we also get the first female Turian in the series, Nyreen Kandros, who’s pretty badass in her own right. Take down General Oleg Petrovsky – one of Cerberus’ most valued agents – when Omega releases for $15 (1200 Microsoft Points).
