A demo for Yakuza 5, the fifth entry in Sega’s open-world, action-adventure game, will be hitting Japan next week.
This chunk of content will put you in the shoes of Kazuma Kiryu during some of the early portions of the game, and as you’d guess, you’ll be punching a whole bunch of dudes in the face in this trial. What’s unique about all this hand-to-hand action will be the graphics engine, which will built from the ground up for this experience. The last few Yakuza games have been running on a modified version of the Yakuza 3 engine, but expect things to look prettier this time around.
If you somehow have a Japnese PSN account, you can grab this demo Nov. 27. The final product, which will contain five settings across Japan and five playable main characters, will reach Japan Dec. 6.
