That massive firmware update that unlocks all the bells and whistles of your fancy, shmancy Wii U that everyone thought couldn’t be downloaded in the background? Turns out it can.
Reports have been sprouting all over the place that the overly cumbersome update can be downloaded in the background rather than taking up the main process of the console simply by cancelling it. It will then (for whatever reason) continue to download away from the front screen while you enjoy actually playing some games.
Last time I checked it’s hard to make a typo of “cancel” into “download in the background”, but okay.
