Crytek and EA recently put out a six minute gameplay demo of Crysis 3, showing off a couple of encounters from early in the game. Our buddy over at Gamespot, Kevin VanOrd, sat down with the Crysis Producer Mike Reed to go over the clip and discuss what is being shown and what can be expected from the game in general.
The video shows some fairly typical Crysis gameplay, with the added quirk of the new Bow weapon as well as a brief look at one of the alien weapons players will get their hands on. Reed explains these weapons, of which there will be five in total, will be treated like a heavy weapon. Meaning you will drop them when you want to switch to another weapon, rather than keeping them in your inventory. He also mentions a few changes to how the nanosuit will work, including the fact that sprint will no longer use energy, a feature which will carry over to multiplayer.
