Don’t give up hope, loyal fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim who chose to play the game on PlayStation 3: The long-absent DLC will be coming soon.
The Xbox 360 has now seen two pieces of DLC for Skyrim – “Dawnguard” and “Hearthfire.” Both add quite a bit to the core game, but neither have graced the PlayStation 3 quite yet. It’s been a struggle for Bethesda to port that content to Sony’s black box, but now, it seems like it’s almost upon us.
“To update, we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC,” the developer tweeted. “Thanks to all our fans. We think you’ll love the new stuff. We know it takes us time and thanks for all your support and patience!”
Fans have needed quite a bit of patience during this time. “Dawnguard” first released in June on Xbox 360, and while it eventually made its way to PC, neither the Personal Computer nor PS3 have yet received the “Hearthfire” content.
The third DLC, “Dragonborn,” will launch on Xbox 360 December 4.
