The PlayStation 3’s Move-compatible Motion DLC for the hit puzzler, Portal 2, will be making its way to the PlayStation Network in the US next week.
November 6 may be both election and Halo 4 day, but a meager $9.99 will grant you access to 20 new test chambers that were once only accessible on PC using the Razer Hydra motion controller. PlayStation Plus members will see a 30 percent discount, and while Sixense Studios, not Valve, developed these new areas, expect a great deal of creativity that makes good use of Sony’s motion controller.
Portal 2 will also be available as a digital download that same day, receiving the same discount as the DLC. Both the base campaign and cooperative modes will be seeing Move compatibility, too. Move support will be a patched into the retail version in the near future.
Unfortunately, there’s no release date yet for Europe. Look to hear more about a wider release of the DLC at a later date.
