Activision’s monoloth Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 doesn’t release until November 13, but already it appears that some players are getting it early.
Apparently, an independent retailer in Europe has sold the Hardened Edition of the game ahead of its release date. There was also a report that a Slovakian website was also selling the game early, but since that information was divulged the listing has been removed.
This isn’t the first time this has happened–independent retailers have been known to sell the game early, and this time there are pictures of the product. However, as 24/7 points out, this is merely a photograph of the game box, and there may not be a disc inside. If in fact it is the game, it will be interesting to see if Activision takes any steps toward banning the guilty parties.
