With the release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale not far off, what better way to celebrate than to play the game that kicked off mascot fighting genre again? Well, apparently hacking Super Smash Bros. Brawl and adding a mod is one way to go.
This new mod is a complete re-skinning of the game, all the way from the game’s menus right through to the characters themselves. The roster features a slew of characters that haven’t been announced in the original unreleased PSASBR game, such as Lara Croft, Sackboy, Raiden, John Marsten and even Commander Shepard. Following this link will take you to the page where you can download the mod and apply it to a hacked Wii (which we will not provide the process for, but is otherwise easily found – just be warned you run the risk of damaging your console in doing so).
Wii game mods have been popular among the non-malicious hacking community, such as the recent unofficial DLC for Super Mario Galaxy 2.
