A new, mostly improved version of Doom 3, titled Doom 3 BFG Edition, just hit the market with sharper graphics, an attached flashlight and an additional mission. Yet, while this lost piece of content was sold as fresh material, a video has outed the mission as little more than rehashed assets from the core game.
Youtube user MarphitimusBlackimis made the discovery, and since he’s such a nice guy, he’s posted a comparison video that puts sequences from this Lost Mission against almost identical environments in the original Doom 3. Check it out.

If you were excited for the BFG Edition just for this “new” content, you may want to hold off.
