‘Borderlands 2’s’ Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty DLC available now

The first chunk of Borderlands 2 DLC, “Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty,” is now available for download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

This pirate-themed content allows up to four gun-clad players to explore the sand dunes of Pandora in search of its most valuable treasures. There will be new people to see, such as Shade, and the fresh town of Oasis to explore. Enemies not seen in the main game will have to be tackled in order to find success, so be cautious if you’re trying to grab the newest weapons and loot from foes like the Sand Pirates and Anchormen.

This is the first of four pieces of DLC that will be available to those who purchased the $29.99 Season Pass, but if you don’t have this golden ticket, all this Borderlands 2 content can be yours for just $9.99.
