How to build a basic multiplayer map in ‘Halo 4’s’ Forge World


GameSpot has posted another behind the scenes look at the upcoming Halo 4‘s Forge World. In it Kynan Pearson, lead multiplayer level designer at 343 Industries, talks about a basic approach to building a serious multiplayer map. The dynamics of a good map such as the lack of hang-ups, line of site blockers, and more are all discussed. It’s a good refresher course for those who might have only dabbled in the creator and also serves as a good introduction for those who are just getting into the franchise.
