I always love how the industry starts to buzz at the announcement of a mysterious new IP, particularly when the source of the project comes from a revered developer. This time, Rock Band developer Harmonix is the source of the excitement as the company has filed a trademark for something called “Chroma”.
The actual posting is over on Justia Trademarks, if you want to see all of the information. Sparse as it is, someone more trademark savvy than I may be able to glean something from it. I have no idea what it’s going to be, though the name “Chroma” says “rhythm puzzle game” to me. At the end of the day, however, this should still be an interesting game given the developer’s pedigree.
