One of Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s most interesting announced maps, Nuketown 2025, has just been given its first screenshot.
If you consider yourself a Call of Duty scholar, you’ll remember Nuketown’s debut in the original Black Ops. A close-quarters map that rarely allowed for a quiet moment, the location garnered a slew of rabid fans, and developer Treyarch seems to be giving those multiplayer maniacs exactly what they want with this new iteration.
The map, whose image was tweeted with the tagline “Where past tense is future perfect,” will be available without charge on November 13 to anyone who pre-ordered the game or purchased the Hardened/”Care Package” versions. Though the concept behind Nuketown was originally meant to portray the perfect house from the 1960s, the latest version is all about the “Model Home of the Future” for 2025.
Looks for it when Call of Duty: Black Ops II releases for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC November 13.
