“Hearthfire,” the $5 piece of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skryrim, has made its way over from XBLA to the wonderful world of Steam.
It may not be a massive, world-changing expansion, but “Hearthfire” allows players to buy land and either build a one-story, dinky house or construct a home that can hold an army. An armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and much more can be built with the new set of creation tools, and while you’ll probably spend most of your time crafting the perfect home, the option of starting a family to fill the house with is there, too.
Look for it now, and yes – we realize that “Dawnguard” still hasn’t made it to the PS3 yet.
