Do you want authenticity? Are you itching for a shooter that makes you feel like a soldier? Does free, early access to one of this year’s biggest games interest you? If you said yes to all three questions (or at least two), then you’re ready for the Medal of Honor: Warfighter beta.
This open, worldwide beta will be coming exclusively to Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in October and as a bonus, those who download it will be awarded 60 full minutes of double XP when the full game launches.
There’ll be plenty to do in this multiplayer test, but the new stuff is what players really want to see. HotSpot, a fresh mode where players “attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia,” will be featured in the beta. Coordination will be necessary for success in this mode, and soldiers will be able to group up using the game’s new, co-op Fireteam system.
Look for the limited beta in October, and don’t forget that the full game comes out on PC, PS3 and 360 October 23.
