Bethesda may have recently expressed doubt over the idea of Skyrim’s “Dawnguard” DLC making its way to the PlayStation 3, but Sony hasn’t given up quite yet. The company has assured fans of the franchise that its working closely with the top RPG developer to bring this massive chunk of content to its console.
“We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems,” Sony’s Adam Boyes recently told Kotaku. “We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda—and with all of our partners—to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way.”
Things aren’t looking too hopeful, as Skyrim’s second piece of DLC has already hit the Xbox 360, but it’s not over until Sony gives up. Nothing’s being promised, but it sounds as if both sides are getting more serious about the process than ever.
“Of course, I always want everything to work always for everyone. I can’t promise any kind of resolution or timeline but can say that everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working.”
It’s just a strange situation, but are you still upset about the content’s PlayStation 3 absence? Do you even care to play “Dawnguard” anymore? Sound off in the comments below!
