It seems that the buggy PS3 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to give Bethesda problems, and according to the developer, it may entirely halt the presence of DLC for the game on Son’y console.
Bethesda took to their official forums this morning, explaining that “Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources, and things get much more complex when you’re talking about sizable content like Dawnguard.” The staff member went on the carefully explain that a solution may not be on the immediate horizon: “This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve…we wish we had a more definitive answer right now.”
In a fit of PC elitism, I purchased Skyrim at launch for my powerful rig, but many of my friends were frustrated to find that their PS3 version was quite buggy. Would you rather have buggy DLC on the Ps3, or do you think Bethesda should take extra time to polish/cancel the content on Sony’s console? Tell us in the comments, or share your PS3 woes in the forums!
