Rayman Origins was one of the best games to come out last year and a resurgence for the character of Rayman. Announced on the Wii U at E3 2012, Rayman Legends is looking to continue that trend and looks like stellar platforming. If you were expecting to get the game on another system, prepare to be disappointed. This game has its eyes set exclusively on the Wii U as the new Gamescom trailer has indicated below.
This doesn’t mean it couldn’t eventually make its way to other systems. If you’ve seen what the Vita can do with their cross-play functionality with the PS3, it’s technically capable. Rayman Legends is expected to hit sometime during the Christmas season.
What do you think? Will you buy a Wii U specifically for this game? Will you wait? Let us know in the comments or forums.
