Fans and fanatics can at least cool their excessive demands for a Final Fantasy VII remake for a few days, as the classic from the original PlayStation will be available to download on your PC today.
You’ll be able to pick it up at the Square Enix store for just $10 until September 12. After that, the price will move up just a bit to $12, but that’s still a fair price for such an expansive title.
New additions have been added, too. An editor that allows players to max out stats will be included for all you awful, impatient people out there, as well as cloud saves and achievements. The core of the game will stay the same, though, so don’t expect Cloud to suddenly have normal-people hair or anything like that.
Whether you’re a fan or just someone who wants to see what all the fuss is about, keep an eye on the store.
