Gearbox Software has opened registration for their annual Gearbox Community Day where fans get some of the best treatment around. Those who attend get a chance to meet other fans, Gearbox employees, and get hands on with Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines before the games are released.
The event takes place in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, September 15 in The Palladium Ballroom.
Community Day 2012 is your chance to go hands-on with Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines before they’re in stores, with additional activities including panels and presentations from the Gearbox Software crew, a costume contest, tons of giveaways and great prizes, and more!
When registering you have the option of multiple price points from free to $999 which includes a private Borderlands 2 gameplay station, a personal behind-the-scenes tour of Community Day and the Gearbox Software offices, exclusive limited edition items signed by the development team, access to the exclusive Gearbox Software area at the Borderlands 2 Launch Party, a custom voicemail recording from Scooter or Claptrap, free registration (i.e. no donation) for the Gearbox Software Charitable Celebrity Poker Tournament on Friday night, and a hotel room for Friday and Saturday night at the same hotel as Gearbox Software personnel!
Honestly, if you live in near Dallas, are a fan of Gearbox, and you don’t attend, you’re crazy. Heck, if you’re over 21 you can even celebrate Borderlands 2‘s release with the Gearbox employees on September 15 if you register and attend!
