Dawnguard, The first piece of DLC for Bethesda’s blockbuster Skyrim, is finally available for PC. Due to a brief exclusivity deal between the developer and Microsoft, it had only been available through Xbox Live. But, after a short announcement at QuakeCon, it became available on Steam for only $19.99.
Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when PS3 owners will be able to jump into the vampiric underworld of Dawnguard, but Bethesda is trying hard to fix this. According to a followup over at the Bethesda Blog, the company is simply “not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3.” Playstation users have already had to deal with a number of technical problems with Skyrim, and it’s sad to see even more complications thrown their way.
