It’s been quite close to three years since we’ve seen the last Army of Two title, but EA is looking to change that next year. EA has just announced that Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel will officially be coming to your Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.
If you were expecting to see more of Sam and Rios, you might want to grow a little less attached. EA has revealed that the title is a reboot, and players will take control of Alpha and Bravo. The game will take place in Mexico, as we’re sure you could guess from the title, and the agents will still be working for T.W.O.
Cooperative play is still the obvious meant and potatoes of the game as splitscreen and online cooperative play will both return. A deeper customization system is said to be coming to the title for both your guns, character, and mask too. As if the beginning of next year wasn’t crowded enough already, EA has confirmed that the game will release in March of 2013.
